About

Shaquille Jordan

Executive Producer/ Director of Mad Millennial

I am Shaquille Jordan, a Virginia-based director with over a decade of experience in the world of filmmaking. Mad Millennial is a project that speaks to my heart and soul, born out of a profound desire to tell the authentic stories of my generation in a way that transcends the common misconceptions and stereotypes that have plagued us.

As a millennial, I've observed that our generation is often painted with a broad brush, and Hollywood, at times, plays a role in simplifying or even distorting our "real life" experiences. Mad Millennial is a response to those who might not truly understand "US." It is a platform for us to share our genuine feelings, actions, logic, and most importantly, our STORIES. We perceive life differently, and this uniqueness has led to judgments and misunderstandings. Mad Millennial aims to set the record straight by giving us a voice to tell our stories as they truly are.

The creation of Mad Millennial is deeply rooted in my longing to provide a creative haven in the Hampton Roads area. This space is where talented individuals can unite and demonstrate the sheer abundance of creative talent that resides at the heart of Virginia. I am a firm believer in the power of safe spaces, where even those who don't necessarily see themselves as creative can uncover their hidden potential through the art of film and entertainment. Our own self-doubt can often obscure our dreams and goals, limiting our perception of what we can achieve.

Mad Millennial is more than a film project; it is a community of aspiring actors and crew members who share two common goals:

  1. To transform their passion for filmmaking into a lifelong career and lifestyle, breaking free from the stereotypes that often shroud our generation.

  2. To inspire not only the residents of the Hampton Roads area but individuals worldwide, encouraging them to believe in the boundless possibilities attainable through discipline and faith. This project serves as a testament to the power of determination and belief in oneself.

Throughout Mad Millennial, the viewer will be immersed in the lives of millennials and experience their real-life stories and situations. I want the audience to connect with these characters on a profound level, to feel that they are watching their own lives unfold on the screen. I want the audience to rediscover the joy of watching television and, most importantly, to feel good again.

In Mad Millennial, we endeavor to showcase the untold stories of our generation, to challenge the misconceptions that surround us, and to bring forth an authentic representation of our lives. We invite you to join us on this journey, to be part of a movement that seeks to redefine how millennials are seen and understood.
